Online Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to online courses delivered by ShamanicHealing.org.uk (the “Provider”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Please read carefully before booking.

By booking or accessing an online course, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. About us

  • Provider: ShamanicHealing.org.uk

  • Contact: Use the contact details on our website

 

2. Definitions

  • Online course: Any live online training, webinar, online workshop, or online programme delivered via video-conferencing and/or an online learning platform.

  • Live session: A real-time online session delivered on a scheduled date/time.

  • Materials: Any digital manuals, PDFs, audio, video, slides, or other resources provided.

  • Platform: Any third-party service used to deliver the course (e.g., Zoom or similar).

  • Booking: Your reservation of a place on an online course.

 

3. Eligibility and participant responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to attend unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have:

  • A suitable device, internet connection and software

  • A private, safe space to participate where possible

  • You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during booking

  • Join sessions on time and behave respectfully

  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy for other participants

  • Follow reasonable instructions from the facilitator

 

4. Suitability, wellbeing and safeguarding

  • Our courses are experiential and may be emotionally challenging.

  • You are responsible for assessing your own suitability.

  • Where appropriate, we may ask to speak with you before accepting your booking.

  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if we reasonably believe the course is not suitable for you, or if your participation may risk your wellbeing or the wellbeing of others.

5. What the course is (and is not)

  • Our courses are for personal development, learning and spiritual practice.

  • They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice.

  • We do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatment.

  • If you are under the care of a healthcare professional, you should seek advice from them before attending.

 

6. Booking, payment and confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed once we have received payment (or agreed a payment plan) and you have received confirmation from us.

  • Prices are as stated at the time of booking.

  • If a payment plan is offered, payments must be kept up to date. If payments fall into arrears, we may suspend access until payment is brought up to date.

7. Access, delivery and changes

  • We will provide joining instructions and/or platform access details before the course starts.

  • We may make reasonable changes to:

  • Session dates/times (where necessary)

  • Facilitators

  • Delivery platform

  • Course content and materials

  • If we need to make a significant change, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

 

8. Recordings and replays

  • Live sessions are not recorded.

  • Participants must not make their own recordings (audio/video/screen capture) or share screenshots/chat logs from sessions without our prior written consent.

9. Missed sessions

  • If you miss a live session, we do not guarantee:

  • A refund

  • A make-up session

  • Access to a recording

  • Where we can reasonably offer support (e.g., notes or a brief summary), we will do so but this is at our discretion.

10. Cancellation by you

  • To cancel, you must notify us in writing.

  • Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the online course (e.g., single session vs multi-session programme) and how close to the start date you cancel.

  • Unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase:

  • If you cancel more than 30 days before the start date, we will refund fees paid minus any non-recoverable payment processing costs.

  • If you cancel 30 days or fewer before the start date, fees are non-refundable unless we can resell your place.

  • If you do not attend in full or decide mid-course to no longer attend, fees are non-refundable.

 

11. Cancellation or postponement by us

  • We may cancel or postpone a course due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including illness, platform outages, or minimum numbers not met).

  • If we cancel, you will be offered either:

  • A full refund of fees paid to us for the affected course, or

  • A transfer to a future date (subject to availability)

  • If we postpone, you may choose to transfer to the new date or request a refund of fees paid to us.

 

12. Transfers and substitutions

  • Transfers to a future date/course may be permitted at our discretion and may be subject to an administration fee.

  • You may not transfer your booking to another person without our prior written consent.

 

13. Community standards and code of conduct

  • We aim to provide a safe, respectful learning environment.

  • We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, bullying or aggressive behaviour.

  • We reserve the right to remove a participant from a live session and/or revoke access to course materials without refund where behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or breaches these Terms.

 

14. Confidentiality and group privacy

  • Participants often share personal experiences. You agree to keep what others share confidential.

  • You must not share:

    • Names, contact details, or identifying information of other participants

    • Screenshots, chat logs, or recordings from sessions

15. Intellectual property

  • All course materials are our intellectual property (or that of our licensors).

  • Materials are for your personal use only.

  • You may not copy, share, sell, publish, upload, or distribute materials (in whole or in part) without our prior written permission.

 

16. Technology, platform use and acceptable use

  • You are responsible for your own equipment and internet connection.

  • We are not liable for issues caused by your technology, connectivity, or local network.

  • You must use the Platform in accordance with its terms and applicable law.

 

17. Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.

  • Subject to the above, we are not liable for:

    • Losses not reasonably foreseeable

    • Indirect or consequential loss

    • Loss of profit, business, or opportunity

  • You are responsible for your participation choices and for creating a safe environment for your practice during sessions.

 

18. Data protection

  • We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on our website).

 

19. Complaints

  • If you have a concern, please raise it with the facilitator during the course where possible.

  • If you wish to make a formal complaint, contact us in writing with details. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

 

20. Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
